Covid-19 Policy & 2022 Updates

 

Covid-19 Policy

1. Everyone entering the building for the purpose of Odyssey of the Mind needs to be masked. This includes volunteers, judges, leadership, audience members, Odyssey supporters

2. Team members need to wear masks while competing Spontaneous.

3. Team members may decide if they want to wear masks or not during their 8 minute Long Term performance.  Teams who elect to perform without masks, may remove their masks when they have left the staging area.  All team members must wear masks while they are talking with the judges after their performance.

4. The time between LT and Spont will be shortened. This is in an effort to have a limited number of people in the building at any given time. 

5. Please do not linger.  Feel free to watch your favorite team or 2 then please leave the building.

6. Concessions will be limited to not encourage people gathering.  Food will be served and eaten only in the HS cafeteria.  KO boosters will sell items such as yogurt, granola, prewrapped sandwiches, soft pretzels.

7. Judges will be asked to bring their own lunch or eat from the limited concessions.  Judge break rooms will be stocked with drinks, snacks, and fruit.  Judge lunch breaks will be staggered between problems.

8. WPA will host an online raffle.  Tickets will not be sold in person, but online sales will take place during the competition.  The raffle closes at 4:00 on March 5.

9. Merchandise will be pre-ordered only and picked up in HS Room TBD.  There will be no other merch sales.​

 

2022 Updates

1. There will not be a shuttle or overflow parking.

2. Our event program will be pared down and available for free from the information tables in the MS & HS lobbies.

3. Arrows around the schools and posters with maps & QR codes will help with directions.

4. Chairs will be spaced in competition sites.  Please do not rearrange them.
